Scientists warn: Warriors bandwagon cannot support growing population

Oakland, CA- With the recent addition of forward Kevin Durant, scientists are warning that the Golden State Warriors bandwagon is nearing a very unhealthy capacity.

Researchers from the National Science Foundation are warning the general public that the bandwagon is nearing the extent of it’s sustainability, and that it could struggle to support the growing population.

“Look, we already knew that the Warriors bandwagon was pretty full.” stated leading researcher Vincent McKinney. “But when they lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals that population dropped to a more healthy level.”

“However, with the addition of Kevin Durant, we are seeing those numbers skyrocket. People are talking about this team going undefeated. There is talk that they could win 200 games next season. I mean, that is physically impossible. But right now logic is not entering into the equation.” McKinney continued.

On Monday, Durant announced that he would sign a two-year deal, with a one-year option, to join the back-to-back Western Conference Champs.

“But super teams don’t always win.” McKinney continued. “And when this happened a few years ago in Miami, we saw a high number of injuries when people fell off of a bandwagon that was filled to capacity. We are hoping to avoid a similar incident right now, but no one is listening.”
