This week on the Daly Dose, we talk about a wild 4th of July in the United States, and look back at an odd moment in sports history.

College football is discussing spring football, but we look at the obstacles with that idea, and the Pac 12 could be in for a major shakeup.

The Kansas City Chiefs give superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes the biggest contract in NFL history, but there could be some drawbacks. Plus, the Washington Redskins could actually be changing their name, and we have a few nominations.

Then, we are joined by a longtime friend of the show to look back at some of the biggest moments in sports history, and wonder “what if they had gone differently?”

From MLB, to college hoops, the NBA, and the NFL, we are looking back at a number of ways things might have been different in the world of sports!

The New England Patriots sign QB Cam Newton. What can we expect to see from that move? The NFL made an announcement that isn’t the bad news people think it is, and they also announced they will be making some changes to stadiums this fall, which could present some unique challenges.

The NBA released their restart schedule, and the Los Angeles Lakers lost one player, but signed another. What repercussions could come from their roster moves?

Then, with Independence Day coming, we are building some American monuments of our own by assembling Mount Rushmores of some of the greatest sports figures in history. We make memorials for boxing, MLB, college hoops, the NBA, college football, and the NFL! Who are the best of the best?
