This week on the Daly Dose, we discuss the booming business that sports uniforms have become and which NFL teams should make some immediate changes to their uniform strategy. 

Both Ohio State and Memphis have a top athlete in trouble with the NCAA, one NBA player made a very questionable decision, Arkansas fired their football coach, and Florida State is looking for a new head coach. Could they make a big name hire? Plus, we have a very strange story coming out of pro golf!

Then, we look back at a wild weekend in both college football, and the NFL. We saw upsets, wild finishes, and great performances, and we are breaking down the winners and losers from the best weekend of the football season so far!

Finally, with the news that troubled NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown will not be returning to playing this season, we did a little deeper into why and count down the Top 5 REAL reasons he is sitting out the 2019 season!

This week on the Daly Dose, we are previewing the 2019 College Football season that begins this week! We begin to look at all of the contenders for each of the Big 5 conferences, and make our picks for who will win them! Will Clemson dominate the ACC again? Can Oklahoma stay ahead of the competition in the Big 12? Can Ohio State continue to dominate the Big Ten even without head coach Urban Meyer?

Plus, we wish a happy birthday to the fastest man on the planet Usain Bolt, and the Los Angeles Lakers are looking for some new…old players. Plus, the NFL reinstates New England Patriots wide receiver Josh Gordon, and Oakland Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown strenuously objects to the league’s helmet ruling!

Oakland Raiders head coach Jon Gruden might not be telling us the truth, and Cleveland Cavaliers guard JR Smith probably needs a personal assistant.

Daly Dose 10-26-18 The biggest in season NFL trades

Friday on the Daly Dose, Jacksonville Jaguars QB Blake Bortles might be fishing,  Tiger and Phil are going to play some one-on-one, and Arbys is being extra nice to sports fans.

Wednesday on the Daly Dose, the Boston Red Sox had to hold on for dear life to finish off the New York Yankees, we lose a long time NFL owner, and there is an NFL feud brewing that has us wondering how it might have been handled in a previous era of the league.

Then, we take a look at which teams NFL and college football teams have faced the toughest schedules so far this season. Will this early season stretch serve to strengthen them as the season wears on, or break them early

Daly Dose 10-02-18 MLB tiebreakers and Mahomes magic

Tuesday on the Dose, the National League postseason is finally set thanks to the season ending tie breakers, as the Milwaukee Brewers win the NL Central and the Los Angeles Dodgers win the NL West. We saw a better than expected Monday Night Football game as the Kansas City Chiefs came back from a 10 point deficit to beat the Denver Broncos on the road. Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes was very impressive.

Then we take a look at some of the biggest winners and losers from the week in college football and the NFL. In NCAA Football, there is just one undefeated team remaining in the Pac 12, one head coach keeps finding ways to win, and Penn State should be worried about more than their play calling! In the NFL we discuss the Patriots getting back on track, a tale of two Thomases, and NFL refs at least got one thing right!

Wednesday on the Daly Dose, we discuss some of the progress that we have seen in sports video games for National Video Game Day. They have come a long ways in the past few decades!

We have some bad news in college football, the Pittsburgh Steelers have some very significant injuries, and the New England Patriots are still looking for help at wide receiver.
