This week on the Daly Dose, we briefly recap the first full weekend of football, as both college football and the NFL seasons are now underway! 

Then, we conclude our 2019 National Football League preview, as we look at each team and discuss who will come out on top of each division! A long time friend of the show stops by, and we jump into the AFC South. With all of the recent changes in that division, who will come out on top? The NFC South is consistently one of the most difficult divisions to predict. Can the New Orleans Saints remain on top?

We make our way to the AFC West, and discuss how our hometown Denver Broncos will do, and try to predict who will win one of the toughest divisions in the league. The NFC West looks to be top heavy with the Los Angeles Rams leading the way, but could another team sneak up and surprise them?

Finally, we finish our preview, by making our way too early predictions for Super Bowl 54!

Daly Dose 09-04-19 Our 2019 NFL Preview Part 1

This week on the Daly Dose, the Los Angeles Rams sign quarterback Jared Goff to a major new deal, while the Dallas Cowboys are still trying to get running back Ezekiel Elliott ready for Week 1. 

Then, we begin our 2019 National Football League preview, as we look at each team and discuss who will come out on top of each division in the league! A long time friend of the show stops by, and we get started by looking at the AFC East. Can anyone push the New England Patriots? We also preview the NFC East. Can the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys both qualify for the playoffs again?

Then, we move on to the AFC North and talk about some of the concerns that the Cleveland Browns could be facing this season.

Finally, we make our way to the NFC North that should be one of the most competitive divisions in the league and gets the first game of the season as the Green Bay Packers face the Chicago Bears! Who will win the black and blue division?

Finally, our Daly Dose Top 5 counts down the greatest NFL backup quarterbacks of all time! We have some QBs that came off the bench to become all time greats!

Then, with the NFL regular season just one month away, we have a few questions for the upcoming season! Which quarterbacks are going to be fully healthy? Friday on the Daly Dose, the NFL is finally back, and we saw an entertaining finish to the season opener. The Philadelphia Eagles slipped past the Atlanta Falcons, and we discuss why the preseason games still do not matter.

Plus, we conclude our 2018 Daly Dose NFL Preview! We finish up our look at the AFC West, and move on to the NFC West. Are the new look Los Angeles Rams the team to beat? Are the Seattle Seahawks best years behind then? And how confident should we be in the San Francisco 49ers? Finally, we give our selections for Super Bowl LIII!

Daly Dose 09-06-18 Our 2018 Daly Dose NFL Preview Part 3

Thursday on the Daly Dose, the Seattle Seahawks finally have safety Earl Thomas joining the team, but he is not happy about it. Meanwhile, the Pittsburgh Steelers are battling running back Le’Veon Bell, and it doesn’t seem to be going very well.

Then, we continue our 2018 Daly Dose NFL preview! We now move on to the AFC South where we should see very tight competition between the Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Tennessee Titans. The NFC South has a chance to produce a few playoff teams with the Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints, Carolina Panthers, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will battling for the postseason. And we begin to discuss the AFC West. The Kansas City Chiefs, Oakland Raiders, Los Angeles Chargers, and Denver Broncos are all hoping to finish near the top!

Wednesday on the Daly Dose, we look at the first regular season AP college football poll after Week 1. One team may have benefitted from the initial results despite losing their opener.

The new Rick Pitino book is out, and he says he was unaware of what his Louisville assistant coaches were doing with recruits. Is that a valid excuse?

Finally, we continue with our 2018 Daly Dose NFL preview! Can the Philadelphia Eagles win the NFC East again? Who could be their top challenger? The Pittsburgh Steelers look like the class of the AFC North, but there are a few other teams that are going to test them. The NFC North is stacked with defending champion Minnesota looking to be even better, but Aaron Rodgers is back in Green Bay, and both Chicago and Detroit are pushing for a playoff spot too!

Tuesday on the Dose, we begin our preview for the 2018 NFL season which kicks off this week! As the season begins every team has hope of what the coming season might hold for them. We look at how the new rules might affect the season, and if the league will make any changes to their preseason format. We also discuss why the NFL might be seeing a drop in their ratings, but it is still the king of sports in the United States.

Then, starting off with the AFC East, we begin to look at which team should win each division, who might be able to contend, and what teams might struggle to find wins this year!

Daly Dose 08-23-18 Ohio State slaps Urban Meyer’s wrist

Thursday on the Daly Dose, Ohio State has “cracked down” on head coach Urban Meyer for mishandling domestic assault allegations, and we are still trying to understand what was said in the press conference.

College basketball has a new metric for picking tournament teams, and the NFL is sticking to their helmet rule.
