This week on the Daly Dose, we are flashing back to an early edition of the Daly Dose! It was the summer of 2015 and there weren’t a ton of sports stories coming out, so we decided to break out the Daly Dose mailbag and read some questions from listeners.

We introduced a few members of the Daly Dose I-Team, we actually talked some politics, explained why we pick on certain teams, and how important is the NBA summer league? 

We also heard from a listener about youth sports. Should young athletes begin to specialize at an early age? Plus, we name our all time NBA starting five, give some advice to a young basketball player that is hoping to make a team, hand out some dating advice, and much much more!

Then, we take a look at some of the true contenders and pretenders in college basketball and the NBA, as those seasons begin to heat up. Who are the teams to watch down the stretch?

Daly Dose 02-12-20 Goodbye to the 2019 NFL season

This week on the Daly Dose, Valentine’s Day is coming, and we were able to run down a few Valentines that are being handed out by some of the top sports figures in the world. 

We discuss the changes that could be coming for Major League Baseball, the return of Bobby Knight to Indiana, and winners and losers from the NBA trade deadline last week.

Then, with the NFL season now complete, we look back at some of the more memorable moments, and hand out some awards to the top performers! Who wins our Coach of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Most Valuable Player and Least Valuable Player?

The 92nd Academy Awards took place on Sunday, but sports movies were nowhere to be found. We give our nominations for sports movies/series that are worth your time to watch.’

Daly Dose 11-27-19 What we are thankful for in sports

This week on the Daly Dose, one university if making some odd news with their college football program, and the NBA is looking at major changes to their schedule…if they are allowed to do so. 

The, we take a look at all of the things in sports that we have to be thankful for over the past year! From MLB to the NFL, college football and basketball, and even the NHL and NASCAR, we have so many things to be thankful for as sports fans!

Finally, we remember some past Thanksgivings, as we countdown the Top 5 most memorable NFL moments from Thanksgiving day games!

This week on the Daly Dose, we talk with longtime high school basketball coach Russ McKinstry about some of the biggest stories in sports today!

Starting in college football, did Alabama coach Nick Saban make a mistake by having QB Tua Tagovailoa in the game, when he was injured? What mistake did Baylor make in the loss against Oklahoma? Which teams are the true contenders as the regular season winds down?

Moving over to the NFL, we discuss the Colin Kaepernick workout, the Myles Garrett suspension, and which team could unseat the New England Patriots. We also discuss the problems without our hometown Denver Broncos, and what we are hoping for going forward.

This week on the Daly Dose, we discuss the booming business that sports uniforms have become and which NFL teams should make some immediate changes to their uniform strategy. 

Both Ohio State and Memphis have a top athlete in trouble with the NCAA, one NBA player made a very questionable decision, Arkansas fired their football coach, and Florida State is looking for a new head coach. Could they make a big name hire? Plus, we have a very strange story coming out of pro golf!
