This week on the Daly Dose, we are cancelling April Fool’s Day, and updating our quarantine status. Major League Baseball is willing to do almost anything to have a regular season, UFC fighter Jon Jones is in trouble again, and Tom Brady is going to give trademarking another try. Then, with March Madness being cancelled, we release our 2020 March Sadness brackets! We look at some of the saddest things in sports and pair them off for a tournament full of upsets! Which is more sad? The Houston Astros cheating scandal, or going to dinner with Rick Pitino? What about Lebron James’ hairline vs. Kevin Durant’s growing bald spot? Our March Sadness brackets will get to the saddest of the sad in sports!

Then, we look back at some of the saddest moments in March Madness, by counting down the Top 5 memorable sad moments from NCAA National Championship games!

Daly Dose 02-26-20 Talking sports with Coach Mac

This week on the Daly Dose, we are joined by a long time friend of the show…high school basketball coach Russ McKinstry stops by to give us his unique perspective on a number of the top sports stories!

We discuss the Major League Baseball cheating scandal, and why the Houston Astros; World Series trophy isn’t going to be taken away.

The NCAA Tournament is coming quickly, and we break down some of the top teams in the country, even though they may not be the blue blood programs that we are used to selecting. The North Carolina Tar Heels are really struggling this year, has the game finally passed by coach Roy Williams?

We look at the NBA, as it heads into the final stretch of the regular season. Why are viewer ratings down, and what can the league do to get them to improve? Who are the top teams to watch as the playoffs arrive, and what should worry the Los Angeles Lakers?

Finally, we touch on the new CBA proposal that NFL owners are trying to get approved, and consider what could derail a Kansas City Chiefs dynasty!

Daly Dose 03-15-19 The Coach Mac interview Part 4

Friday on the Daly Dose, the Duke Blue Devils got Zion Williamson back last night, and he was as impressive as ever,  but it wasn’t all good news for Duke.

One college basketball coach is acting childish, the New York Giants are trying to replace Odell Beckham Jr, and one sports venue really needs to be shut down permanently.

Then, we continue our conversation with longtime basketball coach Russ McKinstry. We look at which teams are capable of making a deep run in March Madness. Which teams might be best to avoid in your brackets? And what is the best way for a coach to help his team in a single elimination tournament like March Madness?
