A brief look at the NBA Lottery and incoming draft class, and those NBA playoffs have not been easy to watch.

Finally, with the LA Coliseum now being sponsored by United Airlines, we have the Top 5 slogans for the new LA United Coliseum!

The UConn Lady Huskies are making history, the Dallas Cowboys don’t care about Tony Romo, and Tom Brady’s diet isn’t the only thing helping his ability to play at 40.

Daly Dose #103 Our U.S. Presidents as Athletes

This week on the Daly Dose Sports Podcast, Clint gives some thoughts on the recent Presidential election and why it was so entertaining.

We saw a number of upsets in college football over the weekend as Clemson, Michigan, Washington, Texas A&M, and Auburn all stumbled. But does it mean anything to the playoff committee?

UFC 205 took place in New York City and Connor McGregor gave the Irish something they have been waiting for.

There are a few NBA teams that have started quickly, but are they true contenders or just pretending?

And we have now seen 10 weeks in the NFL, and while we might think we are figuring the league out, if we look a little closer we might be surprised at what we find.

Finally, we count down the Top 5 most athletic US Presidents in history!

NBA Preview: The Pacific Division

Western Conference

Pacific Division

(Predicted order of finish)

NBA Pacific

1. Golden State Warriors

Kevin Durant decided if you can’t beat ‘em join ‘em, so he took his talents to the Bay area where the Warriors will be favored in all 82 games this season.

Unless they go up 3-1 in a playoff series. Then all bets are off.

2. Los Angeles Clippers

The Achilles heel for this team has been the lack of depth behind their starting five, so they went and signed Raymond Felton, Marreese Speights, and Brandon Bass.

So on paper, it looks like the Clippers have gotten significantly better.

If they can stay healthy, and if the cards break just right, they could maybe…possibly…finish 2nd.

3. Phoenix Suns

Phoenix imploded last year, with injuries and team disputes disrupting any chances of success.

The Suns are not without talent. Brandon Knight, Eric Bledsoe, PJ Tucker, and Devin Booker are a solid nucleus.

And rookie Dragan Bender should be interesting to watch.

And by “interesting” we mean disappointing.

4. Sacramento Kings

Kings VP Vlade Divac decided that he would completely rebuild his roster, and coaching staff, to try and keep troubled big man DeMarcus Cousins happy.

It didn’t work, and Cousins is still not pleased.

We are on Cousins’ side and would like to offer a realistic solution.

Make Boogie player/coach, and give us  reason to actually watch this dreadful franchise.

5. Los Angeles Lakers

Kobe Bryant finally hung it up, but they have some young talent like Jordan Clarkson D’Angelo Russell, and Julius Randle. And they signed some decent veterans in Luol Deng and Timofey Mosgov.

But until they get rid of some dead weight they are going to continue to struggle.

No not Swaggy P.

We meant Jim Buss.
