This week on the Daly Dose, we talk about a wild 4th of July in the United States, and look back at an odd moment in sports history.

College football is discussing spring football, but we look at the obstacles with that idea, and the Pac 12 could be in for a major shakeup.

The Kansas City Chiefs give superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes the biggest contract in NFL history, but there could be some drawbacks. Plus, the Washington Redskins could actually be changing their name, and we have a few nominations. 

Then, we are joined by a longtime friend of the show to look back at some of the biggest moments in sports history, and wonder “what if they had gone differently?”

From MLB, to college hoops, the NBA, and the NFL, we are looking back at a number of ways things might have been different in the world of sports!

Daly Dose 06-17-20 The greatest teams that never were

This week on the Daly Dose, we discuss the importance of Father’s Day, and the way that fathers change our lives.

The 2020 Major League Baseball Draft took place last week, and we give it all the time it deserves, NASCAR makes some major policy changes concerning the Confederate flag, and we wonder how it will change races. The NBA has hit a few snags on their restart, and the Denver Broncos are fully embracing sports gambling!. Plus, the University of Southern California has now forgiven former Trojan superstar Reggie Bush, and we are hoping that his Heisman will soon be returned to its rightful owner soon too.

Then, we discuss the return of the NBA in July, and wonder which teams can step up in crunch time. We also look back in sports history that failed to step up at key times, and fell short despite all of their talent.

Finally, we discuss whether or not the league champions in the NBA, NHL or even MLB could have an asterisk* next to their names in the record books this year, and we count down five teams that DO have an asterisk next to their name already!

This week on the Daly Dose, we discuss how so many Americans are coping with their quarantines right now. Plus, LSU football coach Ed Orgeron has a sad announcement, but we are hoping a better one is coming soon!

Tuesday on the Dose, the Duke Blue Devils pull in another huge recruiting class, but can they turn that into a title?

NFL teams seem to be spreading rumors about which prospects they might be selecting in the draft.

The NBA admits that their officials made a mistake in a playoff game, but why would they admit that?

Then, we take a look at the top prospects in the upcoming 2019 NFL Draft and discuss why teams tend to miss on their picks so often!

Daly Dose 03-29-19 The highest scoring NCAA freshman

Friday on the Daly Dose, Major League Baseball has its Opening Day, so why aren’t we more excited? The New England Patriots have lost yet another coach….sort of…and we recap a very entertaining night of college basketball. Four teams have now moved on to the Elite 8!

Then, we preview the weekend in sports! The NCAA Tournament will continue to roll on, the NCAA Women’s tournament has a very intriguing matchup, and we have some NBA and NASCAR too.

Finally, with the incredible season that Duke freshman Zion Williamson is having we look at some of the highest scoring freshman in NCAA history!

Daly Dose 03-15-19 The Coach Mac interview Part 4

Friday on the Daly Dose, the Duke Blue Devils got Zion Williamson back last night, and he was as impressive as ever,  but it wasn’t all good news for Duke.

One college basketball coach is acting childish, the New York Giants are trying to replace Odell Beckham Jr, and one sports venue really needs to be shut down permanently.

Then, we continue our conversation with longtime basketball coach Russ McKinstry. We look at which teams are capable of making a deep run in March Madness. Which teams might be best to avoid in your brackets? And what is the best way for a coach to help his team in a single elimination tournament like March Madness?

Friday on the Daly Dose, it is the anniversary of the Fight of the Century between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier!

The Chicago Bears could be looking to deal a pretty good player, and we might finally end up seeing another college basketball scandal casualty. Could it affect the NCAA Tournament?

We preview what should be a pretty good weekend in sports. The NBA is rolling, NASCAR is at Phoenix, and college basketball conference basketball tournaments are getting started.

Daly Dose 02-08-19 The worst Super Bowls of all time

Friday on the Daly Dose, it is an important day in Cleveland Browns history, Major League Baseball loses an all-time great, and one NBA team may have been sold a lemon prior to the trade deadline.

We preview the weekend in sports, including some very good NBA, and college basketball games, plus believe it or not, we DO still have some professional football to watch.

Finally, Super Bowl LIII may not have been a very exciting game to watch, but was it the worst in NFL history? We have five other Super Bowls that may have been even less entertaining!
