This week on the Daly Dose, we take a look at some of the greatest athletes in sports that have a very special name in common. 

Mike Krzyzewski announced that he will be retiring from Duke, the Boston Celtics make an odd move, and we take a look at how the NBA Playoffs are unfolding so far. 

Then, we are taking a look at some of the bigger QB battles that we can expect in the upcoming College Football and NFL seasons! Who will be the starting QB for the Alabama Crimson Tide? What about the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Denver Broncos, or the Chicago Bears? We take a look at a number of the top QB battles to watch this season!

Finally with Mike Krzyzewski, Roy Williams, and Lon Kruger announcing their retirements, we count down five times that a college basketball coach had to replace a legend!

Daly Dose 01-27-21 Super Bowl LV is set!

This week on the Daly Dose, Super Bowl LV is now set as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be meeting the Kansas City Chiefs in the big game. We recap the NFC Championship. Did Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur cost his team the game? The Kansas City Chiefs have one player that proved to be extremely valuable against the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship game. We also remember the amazing career and life of Hank Aaron, and we even have some really good news this week in college sports!

Then, we begin to take a look forward to both college basketball and the NBA seasons. But before we do, I explain why I am not particularly pleased with College Basketball right now, and why some of our leaders need to step up their game!

We discuss that lack of surprises that we can expect in the NBA, but there are a few teams that have caught our attention.

This week on the Daly Dose, it is Halloween week, and we discuss the challenges of Halloween in 2020.

The Los Angeles Dodgers won the 2020 World Series in an amazing redemption story for so many, but it had to be painful for one fan base. 

The University of Arizona basketball program has a lack of institutional control, the NBA could have a very short offseason, The Big 10 has restarted football, but not everyone was a winner, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers clearly don’t believe in math or science. 

Then, in honor of Halloween, we are taking a closer look at some of the biggest sports conspiracies in history! Did MLB cover for Cal Ripken Jr? Did Muhammad Ali benefit from a “phantom punch”? Did the NBA fix a game for the Los Angeles Lakers? Did the NFL destroy New England Patriots “spygate” evidence? Plus we have a college basketball point shaving conspiracy, a college football drug conspiracy, and even an NFL conspiracy that involves an unsolved murder!

The NFL says that the 2020 NFL Draft is going to take place, and we discuss why that is a good thing. 

Then, with March Madness being cancelled, we release our 2020 March Sadness brackets! We look at some of the saddest things in sports and pair them off for a tournament full of upsets! Which is more sad? The Houston Astros cheating scandal, or going to dinner with Rick Pitino? What about Lebron James’ hairline vs. Kevin Durant’s growing bald spot? Our March Sadness brackets will get to the saddest of the sad in sports!

Then, we look back at some of the saddest moments in March Madness, by counting down the Top 5 memorable sad moments from NCAA National Championship games!

Last weekend, we saw a couple of college football teams get themselves back into the college football playoff picture, and one college football team is already pulling the plug on their head coach. 

The New England Patriots suffered their first loss of the season, and the Daly Dose I-Team explains why NFL fans should worry about Josh Gordon joining the Seattle Seahawks.
