It is Friday, and wwe have  number of sport news stories to discuss! The Washington Capitals have finally won their first Stanley Cup in franchise history! The New England Patriots could be shorthanded to start the season. A Pro Football Hall of Famer is proving a point, and we aren’t sure what to believe from the Philadelphia 76ers these days.

We preview the weekend in sports including a possible sweep for the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals, and a possible Triple Crown winner in horse racing.

Finally, we count down the Top 5 most surprising NBA Finals MVPs of all time!

Daly Dose 05-24-18 Another boring NBA Playoff game

Thursday on the Daly Dose, we recap Game 5 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Boston Celtics. The Celtics got an important win, but it wasn’t the most exciting game to watch.

The Stanley Cup Playoffs saw a Game 7. The Washington Capitals came through when they needed to, and are now headed to the Stanley Cup Finals!

The NFL has released a new rule that might be controversial, and we remember one of the strangest events in sports history, then look at some of the teams in Major League Baseball that are heating up recently, and a few others that are cooling down.

Finally, we do have a few sports media overreactions of the week! The Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers are getting a lift from surprising places, but are they a long term solution? And will Tom Brady’s absence from voluntary workouts have any long term ramifications?

Daly Dose 05-23-18 We already can’t wait for college football

Wednesday on the Daly Dose, we recap Game 4 of the NBA Western Conference Finals as the Houston Rockets tied up their series with the Golden State Warriors. There is some breaking NFL news including a rule change that we aren’t even sure whether or not to believe, and we already have a few significant injuries.

We also look forward to some of the very early college football games that are going to be coming in the first full week of the season. Yes, it is only Memorial Day, but we are already starting to look forward to Labor Day, because there are some great games coming in Week 1!

This week on the Dose, we are already tired of all of the political talk in sports. So, we sidestep the politics, and stick with what we actually know.

Major League Baseball is finally getting interesting, and we take a look at possible postseason matchups. We know that the Cleveland Indians, and the Los Angeles Dodgers will wrap up the top spots in each league, but which other teams can contend?
